What the error says

When uploading the Hotel Occupancy Survey (EOH) to the INE platform, the message appears:
“The sum of ADR by customer type is not equal to 100%”
INE requires the average daily rate (ADR) breakdown by customer type (tourism, business, agency, online, etc.) to sum exactly 100% of the total. If the report rounding doesn’t add up, the platform rejects it.

Why it happens

It’s not your property’s error — it’s a Roomdoo calculation issue when generating the report. When the revenue is split across customer types, individual rounding can add up to 99.99% or 100.01% instead of exactly 100%. This case is rare but recurring. When it happens, it’s a known issue with the report calculation.

What to do

1

Don't fix the XML by hand

The XML is calculated automatically and manual manipulation isn’t safe — balance must come from Roomdoo.
2

Contact support

Send us:
  • Report period (month and year)
  • Affected property
  • Screenshot of the error if you have it
3

Generate the corrected report when we notify you

We adjust the calculation and deliver the corrected XML for you to upload to the INE platform.

When to contact support

Always. This case requires our side to act.
Don’t upload the report with manually edited data just to get INE to accept it. Declarations are logged and inconsistent data can trigger inspections or penalties.
