Why rates aren’t deleted but archived
When a rate stops selling (for example, “Weddings 2025” after the year is over or “September Promo” after the campaign), the first instinct is to delete it. But deleting a rate would break the reservations made with it — the system wouldn’t know what conditions and prices they ran on. That’s why instead of deleting, rates are archived:- They no longer appear when creating new reservations
- They don’t generate new sales on channels
- Existing reservations keep their price and conditions intact
- The accounting and operational history stays complete
How it’s done
From support. Ask us to archive a rate by sending:- Exact name of the rate
- Date from which it should no longer be available (sometimes immediately, sometimes at month-end)
- Whether it should be removed from a specific channel or from all
Common cases
I have several old rates I no longer use (Weddings 2024, Summer Promo 2024, etc.)

Send us the list in one email. We archive in batch to keep the rate list clean.
Can I reactivate an archived rate if I need it again?
Can I reactivate an archived rate if I need it again?
Yes. Ask us to reactivate it and it’s available again. Prices and conditions are preserved.
What about future reservations on that rate?
What about future reservations on that rate?
Existing future reservations keep the rate and process normally (charge, check-in, invoice). You just can’t create new reservations on that rate.
What about channels (Booking, Expedia)?
What about channels (Booking, Expedia)?
When archived, it also stops being distributed on connected channels. If you want a rate visible only on one channel or for some dates, let us know.
