## Quick app tour

    Roomdoo's welcome screen gives you a quick overview of what's happening at your property today. A few things you can do from here:

    * If you manage **more than one property**, use the dropdown in the top-left corner to switch between them.
    * Check the report of today's **pending check-ins and check-outs**.
    * See the chart and details of today's **occupancy**.
    * Review the summary of the day's **bookings**: new reservations, in-house guests, cancellations, check-ins and check-outs.
    * Check the summary of **newly received reservations**.
    * Browse the **latest Roomdoo updates** and news.

  <Accordion title="Reservation planning" icon="calendar">
    To open the planning, click the dropdown on the left and select **Reservation planning**.

    It's a single calendar for reservations from every channel, with *drag and drop* interaction so you can manage rates, arrivals, departures and room assignments.

    **What you can do from here:**

    * Pick which **dates** to display (defaults to yesterday onwards).
    * Apply **filters** (room type, capacity, etc.).
    * **Create reservations** or **block rooms**.
    * **Search reservations**.
    * See available rooms and the **occupancy percentage** (blocks don't count as occupied).

    Each reservation has a **colour** that signals its state (future, in-house, paid, etc.). Full legend in [Planning colours](/en/reservations/planning-colors).

      To scroll faster through the calendar, hold **Shift** and use the mouse wheel.
